What to expect
Check the installed firmware and country-specific SKU; WildWorld has not independently tested every firmware variant.
Before you begin
- RTMP menu present in your firmware.
- YouTube Live enabled.
- A stable upstream network connection.
Setup instructions
- Set H.264 video and disable unsupported smart compression if necessary.
- Configure AAC audio if available.
- Create a YouTube Live event and copy its ingestion destination and key.
- Enable Network → Access Platform → RTMP with the custom destination.
- Test playback, remove any unnecessary public port forwards, and submit the live URL to WildWorld.
Important limitations and safety
- Manufacturer documentation is not a guarantee every region/firmware supports YouTube ingest.
- YouTube stream keys are secrets; do not post them publicly.
